Is JTL-Connector for WooCommerce safe? Known vulnerabilities and latest version

What to do
- Replace it. A closed plugin gets no updates through WordPress, so any hole found from now on stays open.
- Deactivate and delete it once you have a replacement (Plugins → Deactivate → Delete). Deleting removes its files; deactivating alone leaves them on the server.
- If you ran a vulnerable version and something looks off (spam pages, strange admins, redirects), run the free scan, or have us clean it: Emergency Cleanup, $499.
With WP-CLI, once you have a replacement: wp plugin deactivate woo-jtl-connector && wp plugin delete woo-jtl-connector

Details from the advisory
The JTL-Connector for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.3 via the saveImage() function. This is due to the startSession() function accepting an empty jtlauth parameter as a valid credential, combined with insufficient file type validation in handleImagePush(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible.
high 7.5 CVE-2026-78193 · published 2026-10-14
SQL injection in JTL-Connector for WooCommerce (2.4.3 and older)
- Affected
- 2.4.3 and older
- Fixed in
- unknown
- Access needed (per CVSS)
- No login needed
- Range from
- CVE record (the advisory publisher) · score by Wordfence
Details from the advisory
The JTL-Connector for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via 'product.push' Identity Endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.3 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The injection fires during identity linking, before ProductController::push() executes, meaning exploitation succeeds even if downstream product handling would otherwise reject the request.
medium 4.3 CVE-2026-9234 · published 2026-06-02
Missing authorization check in JTL-Connector for WooCommerce (2.4.1 and older)
- Affected
- 2.4.1 and older
- Fixed in
- unknown
- Access needed (per CVSS)
- Needs a low-level account (e.g. subscriber)
- Range from
- CVE record (the advisory publisher) · score by Wordfence
Details from the advisory
The JTL-Connector for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to, and including, 2.4.1. This is due to missing capability checks and nonce verification on the admin_post_settings_save_woo-jtl-connector action (handled by JtlConnectorAdmin::save()) and on the wp_ajax_downloadJTLLogs and wp_ajax_clearJTLLogs AJAX actions (handled by the global downloadJTLLogs() and clearJTLLogs() functions). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify arbitrary plugin settings, download a ZIP archive of the connector's developer log files, and delete those log files.
