What to do
- Update to the latest version (1.2.16). Anything older than 1.2.15 has at least one known issue listed below. Dashboard → Updates, or Plugins → “update now”.
- If you cannot update right away, deactivate it until you can.
- Turn on auto-updates for it: Plugins → “Enable auto-updates” on its row.
- If you ran a vulnerable version and something looks off (spam pages, strange admins, redirects), run the free scan.
With WP-CLI: wp plugin get quentn-wp --field=version shows what you run; wp plugin update quentn-wp updates it.

- 1.2.12 and older
- Fixed in
- 1.2.13 *
- Access needed (per CVSS)
- No login needed
- Range from

Details from the advisory
The Quentn WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'qntn_wp_access' cookie in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.12. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query in the `get_user_access()` method. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
