What to do

  1. Replace it. A closed plugin gets no updates through WordPress, so any hole found from now on stays open.
  2. Deactivate and delete it once you have a replacement (Plugins → Deactivate → Delete). Deleting removes its files; deactivating alone leaves them on the server.
  3. If you ran a vulnerable version and something looks off (spam pages, strange admins, redirects), run the free scan, or have us clean it: Emergency Cleanup, $499.

With WP-CLI, once you have a replacement: wp plugin deactivate mamurjor-employee-info && wp plugin delete mamurjor-employee-info

Details from the advisory

The Mamurjor Employee Info plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.0. This is due to missing nonce validation on multiple administrative functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create, update, or delete employee records, departments, designations, salary grades, education records, and salary payments via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
